waiting for xbox 360 Jasper

Rumor has been circulated for months about new 360 jasper with both 65nm GPU & CPU.

And I can’t wait to get one.
If it is actually went on sale, how do I identify xbox 360 Jasper?
That’s is the big question given the fact that MS never announces any hardware changes in the past. This is my guess. Since the new system will consume less power, the power supply block will provide less power as well. Example: Falcon power supply wattage rating is 175W comparing to 205W of its predecessors.
Therefore, Jasper power supply wattage rating should be around 145W. If MS prints system wattage outside like they did in some Falcon systems, that will be super sweet!

Second way to spot it is looking at manufacture date August 2008 or later. Alternatively, you can look at serial number to figure out manufacture date:
Xbox 360 serial number format: LNNNNNNYWWFF
– L represents which production line the Xbox 360 came from
– NNNNNN (6 digits) represents the number of your Xbox 360 produced in that week
– Y represents the year it was produced (5 = 2005, 6 = 2006, 7 = 2007, etc.)
– WW represents the week it was produced (a WW of 01 means it was produced during the first week of the year). You can use this calendar to pinpoint the exact month.
– FF represents the factory where it was assembled (05, 06 and 07 are all China based companies and are either Wistron, Flextronics of Celestica)
