NFC combo chip

It’s natural to combine NFC controller with current wireless chip to cut cost and save space.

Back in Feb 2012, TI is the 1st company to announce NFC combo chip: “WiLink 8.0” chip that integrates NFC, Wi-Fi, GNSS Bluetooth and FM transmit/receive technologies”.
Soon after, Marvell also announced NFC combo chip WLAN/BT/NFC.

I’m sure that other semi-conductors, such as Broadcom and Qualcomm …, are working on NFC combo chips. It’s just a matter of time for them to release.
